October 2026 - CLARITY - Transforming Ideas into Ideals
September asked us to find greater integrity within ourselves; October brings clarity about what we will do with what we have recognized. Can experience become wisdom? Can knowledge become conscious choice? Can an idea become an ideal?

Clarity - From Idea to Ideal
Energetic Weather Conditions for October 2026
There are moments in our development when life seems to bring us back to a familiar threshold. We recognize the landscape, the questions, perhaps even the emotions that accompany them, and for an instant we may wonder whether we have truly moved forward at all. Yet something is different. We are no longer the person who first stood there.
October carries something of this quality for me. It feels as though a time capsule from October 2018 has been opened, releasing themes that were already asking for our attention eight years ago.
Relationships and agreements are being reconsidered, established structures are shifting, old narratives are resurfacing, and questions around trust, truth, security and authority are becoming more difficult to answer through the categories of the past. Beneath all of this lies October's central theme:
CLARITY.
Not certainty, and certainly not the conviction that we already possess the truth, but the willingness to see more clearly—to distinguish what we actually observe from what we assume, what we know from what we believe, and what belongs to the present from what we continue to carry forward from the past.
September asked us to find greater integrity within ourselves; October now asks what we will do with what we have recognized. Can experience become wisdom? Can knowledge become conscious choice? Can an idea become an ideal?

Inner Themes

The strongest inner movement this month is a process of reassessment without regression. Old thoughts, relationships, fears or unresolved questions may return to consciousness, but their reappearance does not necessarily mean that we are moving backward. Sometimes life brings us back to an earlier threshold precisely so that we can recognize how much the person standing before it has changed.
The question is therefore not simply What is happening again? but Who am I now in relationship to what is happening?
The experiences of the past need not become the boundaries of our future. They can become the substance from which wisdom is formed, provided we are willing to examine them without becoming identified with them.
This requires a different relationship with our own thinking and feeling. The fact that a thought arises within me does not mean that I must identify with it, just as the intensity of an emotion does not automatically make my interpretation of its cause true. Many of us will be faced with strange conflicts, deceptions, or even straight up attacks by others.
It will be very important to keep our stance and not react to everything. Due to the increasingly "crazy-making" collective energetic conditions, October asks us to cultivate a little more space between experience and conclusion. In other words:
Keep an eye on your inner conflicts and choose your battles wisely. Evaluate clearly what is worth your life energy!!!
For this, we now really need a more balanced Heart-Mind!
But remember, clear thinking does not need to become cold, and intuition does not need to abandon discernment. Feeling can reveal something important without becoming the final authority; reason can test our perceptions without extinguishing their warmth. When heart and mind begin to educate one another, clarity becomes less about proving what we already believe and more about becoming capable of recognizing what is actually there.
This also brings the self-healing work of the previous months toward a culmination. We have been learning to recognize emotional reactions without becoming completely identified with them, to distinguish fear from the quieter presence of the True Self, and to notice when our thoughts, feelings, words and actions move out of harmony. September brought this into the question of integrity and coherence. October asks us to use what we have learned.
With this, more differentiated way of being, perhaps healing is not the achievement of a state in which nothing can disturb us is no longer the goal. But becoming increasingly capable of noticing when we have lost our center—and remembering how to return.
And this is where October's subtitle, Transforming Ideas into Ideals, becomes very practical. We encounter ideas continuously, but an idea does not become spiritually fruitful merely because we understand or agree with it.
Freedom remains an abstraction until we practice free thinking.
Truth remains an abstraction until we become truthful with ourselves.
Love remains an abstraction until it changes how we meet another human being.
An ideal begins to emerge when what we recognize intellectually begins transforming how we feel, choose and act.
This is why the line from the CLARITY Energy Alignment feels so central to October:
“Whenever I can see the ideal in an idea, I know my purpose.”
The deeper question this month may therefore be:
What does what I now know ask me to become?
Outer Themes

In the collective field, this same process of reassessment appears through changing alliances, negotiations and the reconsideration of old agreements. Political, economic and geopolitical relationships that once appeared relatively stable are increasingly being examined in light of changing circumstances. Power centers are shifting, nations are reconsidering dependencies, and trade, financial and energy relationships are being renegotiated. We may see old partnerships questioned while unexpected new alignments begin to emerge.
This atmosphere can create a need for certainty. When economic and political conditions become difficult to interpret, we naturally search for explanations that make the world coherent again. This is where I would be particularly attentive in October to financial, technological, political and utopian narratives that promise certainty about what comes next.
Stocks and Cryptos, and Real Estate will become extremely volatile, especially toward the end of October!
Some of these crazy-making narratives may contain important truths, but the majority of mainstream and social media will be projections of hope or fear. The task is not to become cynical or distrust everything. It is to remain capable of thinking while information is still incomplete.
Adding to economic and geo-political uncertainties is the Earth's reaction to increasingly stormy emotions, anger, and violence. Starting around October 21-22 until the end of the month expect big storms and floods (hurricanes in certain areas). Trying to navigate all of this, we may need to become increasingly comfortable saying:
"This is what I can observe. This is what I presently think it means. This is what it feels like. And this is what I still do not know."
This also applies to our relationship with technology and AI. We are entering a period in which enormous quantities of information can be gathered, processed and synthesized for us almost instantaneously. Yet more information does not necessarily create greater clarity. The opposite can occur: the sheer abundance of interpretations, predictions and explanations can weaken our willingness to remain with a question long enough to develop our own thinking. October therefore asks us to watch carefully where we outsource not merely information gathering, but judgment itself. Technology can enormously expand our capacity to know about the world; it cannot relieve us of the responsibility to develop the consciousness with which we interpret what we know.
On the collective level, then, the October 2018 “time capsule” is useful precisely because it asks us not to repeat old positions automatically (google: "major financial, social and geo political developments in October 2018"). Whatever parallels we perceive, the world is not the same world, and we are not the same people. The task is to take seriously what history has taught us without allowing history to become prophecy.
The past should inform our discernment, not dictate our response.
Cosmic Themes
The cosmic picture of October seems to mirror this process of revision, rebalancing and inward reconsideration. The month's cosmic constellation emphasizes review, reevaluation, and returning to questions of value, relationship, communication and agreement rather than rushing toward premature resolution. What comes back into awareness may need to be reconsidered, renegotiated or simply understood differently. But a return does not automatically mean a restoration. Something can return because it belongs in our future—or because we are finally ready to understand why it does not.
At the same time, the seasonal movement of the Northern Hemisphere carries us deeper into the Earth's inward gesture following the autumn equinox and Michaelmas. Outer light continues to diminish while the demand for inner illumination grows. What summer offered through the senses must now become inner substance. The spark of thought is not meant to remain passive; it must become a flame through our own activity. In that sense, October's cosmic gesture and its human task seem remarkably aligned: the world may become less externally certain precisely as we are being asked to develop greater inner wakefulness.
Spiritual Science Themes
There is an image from Spiritual Science that seems to gather these October themes into a much deeper picture: The 'widow's son' (The Youth of Nain - Luke 7 and 14) whom Christ encounters being carried out of the city as dead and comes back to life. In a spiritual-scientific interpretation of this spiritual image it speaks powerfully to October. The 'widow's son' stands for our inability to see through the veil that separates physical from spiritual reality, but he carries the ability to transform this perception in a later, more mature incarnation.
This veil is not simply something concealing information from us. It marks a threshold between the consciousness we presently possess and realities for which consciousness itself must become prepared. The spiritual task is not simply to tear away the veil and expose what has been hidden, but to transform/self-heal ourselves in a way that allows us to see beyond.
The one who wishes to see must also be transformed.
Issues regarding perception feel particularly relevant today. We have unprecedented access to information, alternative interpretations, historical archives, data, algorithms and artificial intelligence—and yet none of this guarantees wisdom. Perhaps one of the modern forms of the veil is no longer too little information, but too much information without sufficiently developed consciousness to order it. (also see the "Many Forms Of Forgetting" article)
This deeper contemplation of what 'Clraity' mean points toward the gradual transformation of our desires, emotions, sympathies, antipathies and instinctive reactions through the activity of the conscious I. Through an act of self-transformation, we do not destroy these aspects of ourselves; we increasingly illuminate and transform them. What once moved us unconsciously becomes something with which the individuated Self can enter into conscious relationship.
Seen this way, the raising of the Youth of Nain becomes a profound image for October. Something within humanity that has existed in an older form of consciousness is being called into a new form of life. What was once received through inherited wisdom, collective belief, instinctive spirituality or external authority must increasingly become individual knowing. We are not being asked merely to inherit truth; we are being asked to develop the faculties through which truth can be consciously recognized and freely lived.
And this brings us back to the transformation of idea into ideal. An idea can still remain outside us. We can admire it, defend it, repeat it and even teach it without being changed by it. An ideal begins when the truth we have recognized starts transforming the person who recognizes it. The veil is then lifted not because we have accumulated enough information, but because our consciousness has become capable of seeing differently...

Self-Healing — Living What We Have Learned
“Due to the love for truth in me, I realize that self-healing is a choice—a new way of consciously living in truth.”
October brings much of our self-healing work of the previous months toward a natural culmination. This does not mean that illness, trauma or suffering are simply matters of choice. Rather, it points toward the freedom available wherever we can consciously change what we continue to nourish within ourselves. Perhaps the culmination of self-healing is not becoming impossible to disturb, but becoming increasingly able to recognize when we have lost our center and knowing how to return.
Self-Healing Tips for October
Pause before interpreting. Separate what actually happened from the story, fear or expectation you immediately placed around it.
Balance Heart + Mind. Feel without turning every emotion into a conclusion; think clearly without losing warmth, intuition or compassion.
Recognize returning patterns. Instead of “Why is this happening again?” ask: “What is different in me this time?”
Reduce information overload. Create space away from news, social media, predictions and competing narratives so that your own thinking can become audible again.
Return to your center. Use nature, silence, prayer, rest, creativity, movement or honest conversation to restore inner coherence.
Question certainty. Ask: What do I actually know? What am I assuming? What might I still need to understand?
Practice one living ideal. Choose something you believe—Freedom, Love, Truth, Compassion—and consciously express it through one real action.
Begin again consciously. When you recognize that you have moved out of alignment, do not condemn yourself. Notice it, learn from it, and choose your next response differently.
October's Message
Perhaps October's strange feeling of return is not asking us to go backward at all.
We may recognize an old conflict, a familiar fear, a relationship dynamic, a promise we once believed, or an explanation of reality that once gave us certainty. Collectively, we may watch political, economic and social questions return in new forms and feel tempted to reach immediately for the conclusions we formed the last time we encountered them. But memory is not destiny!
The more important question is what our experiences have awakened within us. Have they strengthened our discernment? Have they made us more compassionate? Have they taught us to distinguish intuition from fear, freedom from reaction, knowledge from assumption, and truth from the need to be right? Have the ideas we once believed begun to become ideals we are actually capable of living?
If they have, then something of the past has already been transformed.
This is where the image of the Veil of Isis returns one final time. Perhaps something from our past must indeed rise again—but not so that it can continue exactly as it was. It rises so that we can encounter it with a consciousness that did not yet exist when we first experienced it.
The veil becomes thinner not simply because more information has been revealed to us, but because the one who is looking has changed. And perhaps that is why clarity should never be confused with certainty.
Certainty says: I know.
Clarity remains capable of saying:
This is what I can see from where I stand now—and I am willing to see more.
We can carry the wisdom of an experience without carrying its limitations as our identity. We can reconsider an agreement without denying the value it once held. We can revise a belief without condemning the person we were when we believed it. We can change direction without declaring the previous road meaningless. And we can enter an uncertain future without demanding that someone first provide us with a reassuring explanation of how everything will unfold.
This is the real new beginning hidden within October. We do not begin again because the past disappears, we begin again because we can see it differently.
The idea becomes an ideal.Experience becomes consciousness.
Reaction becomes choice.
And what once appeared to be repetition becomes an opportunity for evolution. So when you find yourself standing before something strangely familiar this month, resist the temptation to ask only:
Haven't I been here before?
Ask instead:
Who is standing here now?
And when the veil begins to lift, perhaps do not be in too much of a hurry to determine everything that lies behind it. Notice first who you are becoming as you learn to see. That may be October's deepest invitation:
See clearly. Think freely. Feel deeply. Choose consciously. And allow what you know to become how you live.

Clarity - Harmonizing What Contradicts
Clarity as Self-Healing Discipline
Much of our work over these past months has already prepared us for this. In August, we have practiced observing our emotional reactions rather than immediately identifying with them, recognizing the difference between fear and the quieter voice of the True Self. In September, we spent some time with becoming aware of the contradictions between what we think, feel, say and do, and returning ourselves to greater integrity whenever we notice that we have moved away from our center.
October does not ask us to begin another healing process. It asks us to use what we have learned.
Perhaps self-healing now becomes something much simpler: noticing what strengthens us and what fragments us, becoming conscious of what we continue to energize, and remembering that even when we cannot choose what happens around us, we can increasingly choose how we meet it.
This is why I say in the CLARITY Alignment:
“Due to the love for truth in me, I realize that self-healing is a choice—a new way of consciously living in truth.”
This does not mean that suffering, illness or trauma are matters of choice, nor that we are meant to heal alone. It means recognizing the place where our freedom begins again. We can learn to notice when fear, old pain, conditioning or contradiction has carried us away from ourselves—and rather than judging that experience, practice returning.
Perhaps that is the culmination of the self-healing work we have been doing: not becoming impossible to disturb, but becoming increasingly able to recognize when we have lost our center and knowing how to find our way back.
And every time we return consciously, something within us becomes a little stronger, a little more coherent and a little more free.
