Your True Self is always present - it is the inner version of your infinite and eternal Soul Self. The True Self's function is to meditate and translate between your conscious Ego Self and your Soul Self. It's basically the direct link to your Soul, able to speak to you in a language you can understand.

Many of us understand 'True' Self as the unfiltered and uncontrollable version of ourselves at first. It reminds us of all the little lies we tell ourselves and triggers our inner judgment to ourselves. It took me a long time to figure out that most people are afraid of connecting with their True Selves because they confuse their True Self with their Ego Self. Our True Self is not the part that acts out or tries to smooth over when we are not authentic. Our True Self is free of judgment, expectation or form and not some virtual supervisor or monitor of how good we are - that's our Ego Self!

In times of increased global uncertainty, our collective human energy field tends to stir up and release fear and anger energies. This invites darkness into people’s hearts. Not only do we often feel this through elevated stress and exhaustion, but we literally experience ourselves in a state of emergency without knowing why. Those with energetic sensitivity are often quite susceptible to feeling these collective disturbances, unaware that their own energy fields are being pushed, manipulated and bombarded. Without a proper understanding and discernment, it can become challenging to remember that we are a soul with a body - and not just a body with a soul.

Collectively the times we are in are characterized by an intensified correction and speeding up of deeper inner clearing processes negatively affecting especially our ABILITY TO CONNECT. On the outside this energetic condition can show in many different ways: Overall increase in pace of life (phones and social media), political and social chaos, financial crisis, integrity problems and fanatism, increased terrorisms, people erratically acting out or 'going nuts', planet responding with unusual earth changes. Internally, these collective conditions affect us through elevated overall stress, sleep and eating problems, increased energetic sensations or mystery diseases, addictions, depression, anxiety, goal-lessness, loneliness, and/or deeply disturbing inner turmoil through not being able to make sense of anything.

There is an intuitive knowing inside of us that can lead us to health, wealth and happiness. It can function as a guidance system or roadmap that can allow us to heal ourselves, and make more conducive choices for ourselves, but most of us don't trust in it. We all know where this is located - it's in our hearts. It's coming from a place of deep love from within that can make us feel a burning desire to change or stand up for something. It can give us the courage to try something new, to let go fo something that no longer supports us, that makes us seek a new approach and that gives us the tenacity to follow through, even when it's not easy.

Why can't we follow our hearts? Why does it feel so vulnerable or scary when we want to trust in our heart's guidance? Why do we rather risk unhappiness or accept toxicity even though we can feel this inner yearning that makes us long for a deeper fulfillment?

How did we forget to trust in our own ability to feel what is needed to truly be happy?

On Being True to Oneself and Identifying When We Are Not

In our daily lives, we often feel empty, lonely or not able to connect with our Self. Many of us have lost the ability to tell if we are truly connected within - our inner connection feels clouded or lost. Feeling this way sometimes is normal, but if we find ourselves becoming more and more robotic or numb, unable to feel ourselves we are running into danger of losing our sense of self. Our sense of self determines our ability to inhabit our own energy body; it enables us to know and enact our boundaries; to have a positive self-image; to feel we belong and of course, to know who we truly are. It can keep us grounded in times of uncertainty, allows us to uncover when we lie to ourselves, motivates us to have the courage to grow and express ourselves, and it provides us with our values, integrity, and goals.

Our True Self is an integral part of us - the middleman between your soul and your physical being. When we feel disconnected within it shows us that we are off-center, that we distracted by too many different versions of perceived ‘other-selves’ - the way we should be, or how others see us. If we see ourselves primarily from an external viewpoint we have allowed our False Self to dominate our life and perception of self.

If you see yourself through the eyes of others, your ability to feel and love yourself becomes clouded!

Many of us energetically sensitive, spiritual and empath people feel lost when faced with the adversity of dealing with human conflicts. We strive for a life expressed through mutual respect, compassion, healing, abundance, oneness, deeper values and integrity - virtues are working on developing through aligning our perception of the world to our heart's truth. But at the same time we beat ourselves up for not being perfect; for having emotions that feel 'unspiritual' to us; and desires we keep hidden. Something isn't adding up.

What's the missing link that can help us to feel more connected and peaceful within?

With compassion we can recognize that there is a deep wound in all of us. We all long for happiness, love and inner connection. We all want to feel that we belong here (somewhere). So, we seek. We seek for meaning in our being and higher purpose in our doing, but more often than not we find is negativity, degradation and anxiety. If we allow ourselves to be who we truly are, people ridicule or attack us for our views. What is missing in us, that no matter what we try, we simply don't seem to be able to function as 'well' as others.

Between trying to find better ways, jobs, relationships and living conditions to express ourselves in our individuality and deeply caring for others and our planet, we we often get lost in seeking. Not knowing where we belong, what to identify with and how to discern truth we get caught up in trying to survive and maintain whatever we have. In order to regain at least the illusion of control we do what we all are designed and conditioned to do - we cope. Instead of stopping for a moment, slowing down and forming an inner and outer relationship with our true Divine Nature, we feel pressed into a form and suffer from endless repeat. Learning how to trust in our true nature and the strength that can come from our inner soul self we can never learn that the energy needed to break the seeking-cycle comes from introspection and stillness. We are too busy seeking ...

6 Transformative Steps to Recognize Your True Purpose & Meaning of Life

At some point in our life we realize that we have spent most of our time with things that don’t really matter to us. Sure, education, relationship, family, friends, career, house, money, traveling etc. are desirable aspects of our life, but what truly defines us? Is there something else in us still waiting to be manifested? Something that we are supposed to do, express or stand for other than just surviving life and fighting our way through circumstances?
