Our world is changing. Some say nothing will be as it was before. This triggers fear in us. But change doesn't have to be frightening or painful ! After all, change is the evolutionary process of adapting, correcting and improving. If you take a deeper look at the struggle underneath your fear of inner or outer changes you will find that it's mostly your ego reacting to the fear of not being in control.

Why is it so difficult for us to accept change as an opportunity to evolve? How can we learn to embrace change without fear?

The only thing that can get us through letting go of our ego's attachment to fear is taking an honest inventory on these illusions and to become more real.

From a higher spiritual perspective, becoming real means having nothing to fear, control, hide or to defend. All that matters is our ability to be true to ourselves and to live according to our inner integrity.

Let's examine how we can learn to let go of the need to hold on to our ego's illusion of needing to be in control of a world that is ever changing...

We all seek answers to help us finding direction in life, higher purpose, fulfillment or simply hands-on guidance with decision making. Many of us already understand that this higher guidance can only come from within ourselves. We read, meditate, and constantly work on improving our Inner Vision. Some even go as far as participating in vision quests or trying to expand their perceptivity through astral traveling or plant medicines - but to no avail. We may have cool (or not so cool) experiences, but the search seems to never end...the answers we are looking for are not coming - and if they do, they are often confusing or misleading. How can we hack this never-ending cycle of seeking for guidance?

From an energetic point of view, the missing link is our inner heart connection. The only guidance that can help us to discern if incoming info is true and conducive for us is through our heart-field. Therefore, it is not the absence of info, but our inability to connect and discern that is holding us back.

So, what are we missing? Why is it so challenging to connect with our inner guidance? We can feel it's there, but somehow we still can't make any sense of it!

Your True Self is always present - it is the inner version of your infinite and eternal Soul Self. The True Self's function is to meditate and translate between your conscious Ego Self and your Soul Self. It's basically the direct link to your Soul, able to speak to you in a language you can understand.

Many of us understand 'True' Self as the unfiltered and uncontrollable version of ourselves at first. It reminds us of all the little lies we tell ourselves and triggers our inner judgment to ourselves. It took me a long time to figure out that most people are afraid of connecting with their True Selves because they confuse their True Self with their Ego Self. Our True Self is not the part that acts out or tries to smooth over when we are not authentic. Our True Self is free of judgment, expectation or form and not some virtual supervisor or monitor of how good we are - that's our Ego Self!

On Being True to Oneself and Identifying When We Are Not

In our daily lives, we often feel empty, lonely or not able to connect with our Self. Many of us have lost the ability to tell if we are truly connected within - our inner connection feels clouded or lost. Feeling this way sometimes is normal, but if we find ourselves becoming more and more robotic or numb, unable to feel ourselves we are running into danger of losing our sense of self. Our sense of self determines our ability to inhabit our own energy body; it enables us to know and enact our boundaries; to have a positive self-image; to feel we belong and of course, to know who we truly are. It can keep us grounded in times of uncertainty, allows us to uncover when we lie to ourselves, motivates us to have the courage to grow and express ourselves, and it provides us with our values, integrity, and goals.

Our True Self is an integral part of us - the middleman between your soul and your physical being. When we feel disconnected within it shows us that we are off-center, that we distracted by too many different versions of perceived ‘other-selves’ - the way we should be, or how others see us. If we see ourselves primarily from an external viewpoint we have allowed our False Self to dominate our life and perception of self.

If you see yourself through the eyes of others, your ability to feel and love yourself becomes clouded!

Most of us perceive our reality as if life is happening to us like a random generator of events. Our future is fuzzy and scary - uncertain at best, which is why we never even explore the possibility that part of our life's purpose is to be in charge of our future. We are so busy coping with our reality constantly pushing into us, challenging our limits, attacking our status quo, controlling our thoughts, inducing emotions and ultimately destroying or aging our bodies, that we never get to realize that a part in us didn't just come here to survive our lives. So, we contend with the belief that our destiny is unknown to us and live our life without having the slightest clue what our mission is.

What is our mission? What gives our life meaning? Job, money, family, fame, likes on instagram? The truth is, most of us simply try to survive our lives hoping that we make it to the last 'level' - whatever that is...

If we were computer generated players in a virtual reality it's be easier, right?! To be fair, most Role Player Games give us at least a clearly defined mission to follow, but we are not just random players in a MMO (Massive Multi Player Online Game). We cannot choose from different characters or have as many lives as we want to. Or do we?

Collective energies are on turbo drive again unveiling the global ego and its shadow. The energetic bombardment through political merry-go-rounds, financial crashes, contaminated food and water, social injustice, techno-control, spiritual emergencies, Wave-X, you name it, has only yet begun. The global shadow is about to unleash its most powerful weapon upon us: Fear, Anger and Negativity. However, all collective phenomena are also mirrors of our own unresolved issues. We cannot separate the two. Projecting DISDAIN, ANGER AND VICTIMHOOD towards others is when we need to look at our stuff.

Anyone who understands the purpose of inner work understands why getting a ping to look into his own mirror is not about blaming or attacking - it's about INTEGRITY and checking in with oneself in order to better discern our own parts and ego payoffs.

There is a level of inertia in all of us that is enabling this COLLECTIVE CRAZINESS. Empath or not. We need to allow TRUTH to be seen - and in order to shift our energy and hold this higher vibratory place, we cannot truly believe that selectively picking the cherries off the cake will change anything. We cannot ignore that we all part of cake! The more we energize our own fear, anger and negativity - the more we are obstructing the light that want's to illuminate the Global Shadow, so that we can all evolve into our higherpotential as humans.

Our inner journey of connecting with our True Self is nothing more than the process of remembering who we truly are - an eternal soul. Simple, basic and not special at all. However, on a practical level it can be one of the toughest journeys we will ever embark on! Read about the 10 most common obstacles of Facing our True Self and why we really need teachers, books, therapies, drugs, yoga or other ‘techniques’ to be who I AM.

Being connected with our True Self unlocks the deep understanding of ourselves and our Divine nature and also our higher abilities, such as healing and self-healing. It creates the unmistakable feeling of oneness in our heart accompanied with a yearning to be true to ourselves, others and our needs - basically, the calling to live our true potential and purpose in life.

But why is it that being true to oneself seems like such a big deal? Don’t we all have a True Self? Aren’t we the authority in matters of ourselves? What can we do to be more connected with our True Self?

1. Critical Inner Voice

One of the most common reasons why we are not naturally connected with our True Self is because we think it makes us vulnerable.
