Have you ever been accused of being in your mind too much? There is a reason why so many of us energetically sensitives choose to use our minds as way to cope with our 3D reality. Overwhelming emotions, bombarding energetic sensations and personal challenges can drive us to the edge of managing our daily lives. In order to stay functional many of us find consolation in our cognitive function. However, on our quest to higher awareness and deeper consciousness this very coping mechanism eventually can become a barrier if we don't adapt. Seeking spiritual knowingness through knowledge alone can't get us where we want to go.
Meditation and Mindfulness have shown to be wonderful tools to get out of our minds, but why is it so difficult to let go of it? Let's dive deep into the abyss of our internal mentalization process and illuminate the energetic aspects of consciousness work to show to ourselves why our mind alone isn't as effective as we think it is.

When we were children we were told that 'Anything is Possible' - that we can 'accomplish anything want', right?! But then, as we learn to adapt to our circumstances and conditions, this belief slowly fades away. The older we get the more we realize that 'Anything is Possible' primarily only manifests in form of series of unfortunate events. What we want is not so much different from what others want. But why does it only seem to work for others? What are we doing wrong?

If we knew better, we’d do better...
... think so? History shows that the knowledge alone doesn’t prevent repetitive behaviors or events from reoccurring. This doesn’t mean we can’t do better, it just means that knowledge is no guarantee for a realization of information. We all know that there is a built in inertia in us, preventing or slowing down our process from knowing, experiencing, understanding to realizing.
Never before in human history have we been able to access so much information as today, but has it changed any of the outcomes? We are still at war with another, we still have racism and degrade the feminine; and we still believe in collectively propagated lies and half-truths. If we really wanted things to be better, why wouldn’t we naturally embrace the opportunity to know better?

Part of our collective human awakening process is the desire to break free from old paradigms and collective uncertainty. The strongest force holding us back on this journey is our ego’s fear of death and the fear of pain. It expresses through endless loops of spiraling thinking and dramatizing while our Heart, through which we could tap into the ‘Field of all Possibilities’ slowly dystrophies. If we lose the connection with our heart, we are trapped in our programmed and survival oriented ego. Our life becomes dominated by inner and outer conflicts and contradictions - our inner dualisms. We become empty, anxious and lonely and our biggest fear is Nothingness.
A heart-based consciousness gives us the ability to discern who we truly are, what drives us, what our real needs are and what we truly want – and what the world needs. It spontaneously clears our inner dissonances, provides inner peace and delivers the guidance on how to get there.

Leaving the limitations of our mind and entering the vast microcosm of our inner world of evolving consciousness can be a frightful thought. Is there something hidden I am not aware of? What if I can’t control it? What if I discover a deep inner darkness? What if I can’t connect at all? What if I get rejected? What if I am not worthy? What if …
Granted, not everyone is interested in evolving his/her consciousness, but to a degree we are all curious about the mechanics of consciousness and especially the occasional energetic perceptions we experience in our daily life. One does not have to be a devoted spiritual seeker to be interested to go beyond the mind.

True Heart-Connection is what we all want, but when it comes to actually connecting with our heart it can be quite challenging to admit that we may have never really felt what this means. At first we all think heart means emotions. This antiquated psychological view got long overhauled in the field of consciousness work, where we know that heart-connection has nothing to do with emotionality. True heart-connection is about feeling and inner knowing. As Science is slowly picking up on our inherent heart-intelligence, I’m sure we will hear more and more about this ‘mystical’ subject in mainstream media in future.
The reason why I am bringing this up is not to convince you of your innate heart-powers – I assume you are already aware of that. The reason is the growing number of people working with me who realize that they can’t really feel their heart. So, what makes it so hard to feel the heart? Do we really need all this spiritual and metaphysical knowledge to find what’s already there?
