Only 4 spots left for the live workshop here in Colorado in September 2017. This seminar is limited to roughly 20 people and will cover how to increase your energetic state in all areas of your life.
Come and learn from two of the best in energetic coaching as well as meeting like minded people who are focused on heart-based connection and learning.
Hurry as these last spots will go quickly! Here's a little more information on the event:
Last week we had a lively demonstration of what it feels like to be in resistance from within. While it was pretty obvious to energetically sensitive people that energies had been building and that there was going to be some kind of obstacle ahead, it it could still hit us really hard,. This made HOLDING OUR OWN SPACE almost impossible last week.
For many of us, the shift to a different phase in life often brings not only a renewed sense of hope, but also a time of reflection. With new resolve comes the need for more clarity about our experiences along the path that lead us to our desire and willingness to change. Any time we decide to change we are openening up to heal our past so that we can overcome our fears of the future.
Regardless of the reason for change; whether it’d be away from co-dependency, addicitve behaviors, substance abuse, or simply an ego driven life for example, if we are honest with ourselves, we often discover that there is some repair work needed before we are able to move any great distance forward.
It's quite common to discover that our previous way of life was one during which we lived through conditioned beliefs, patterns and programs that were so significantly misaligned from who we truly are, that our past actions barely feel like it was us doing them. For the deeper inner healing these aspects of ourselves need to be reunited and integrated.
When we are forced to react or adapt to a stressful situation, fight, defend or remove something, we can’t really act from a position of love, calm, allowing, accepting, etc. – instead we tend to turn into fire-putter-outers and do whatever needs to be done to resolve an immediate crisis, which can sometimes also mean to simply run away. Being able to tap into our innate survival skills is one of our cool human traits. Our flight or fight response, located in the animalistic part of our brain and energetically linked with our lower Chakras (1st, 2nd,3rd), enables us to go beyond our normal restrictions.
While this state of high alert can activate unknown energy reserves, we are able to achieve astounding strength, resilience, persistence and reactionary speed, which we may not always be proud of, in retrospect. Many of us find ourselves acting with a temper, in fear, with raw intensity and sometimes with actions we may regret later. However, when accessing this part of ourselves, we typically act without thinking or reflecting, so there is very little sense in judging what we did.
This can cause an energetic schism in us. We knew that it needed to be done but we cannot feel entirely congruent with what did in this state as our consciousness (which is located in the frontal lobe of our brain and linked to our 4th and upper Chakras) suggests other solutions; moreover, we sometimes feel difficulties to find back the way to our peaceful state in which we want to respond with love, compassion and wisdom.
Some native tribes call this phenomenon The Shadow-Man. I find this a very fitting analogy, as it symbolizes the part of us that fights and ‘kills’ in defense or for survival. Traditionally, this was of course related to battle or hunting situations, but we can easily transpose these situations to our daily lives, for example: At work, in a relationship fight or when verbally attacked in traffic.
In Energy Work this is comparable with the reactionary part of us that helps us to survive or cope with stress situations (emotionally, mentally, physically or spiritually). It is also the part that when not properly healed, can turn against us and develop into our ego-, shadow- or false self traits.
Many times we will feel stuck, in constant emotional/mental loops, or even just stagnant and not sure what to do for the next step in our journey. These feelings or sensations of being hindered on our paths are many times be due to shadow patterns/traits coming forward that we may not be fully acknowledging or working through.
Our shadow is made up of stored emotions, unresolved and sometimes unknown defense mechanisms, and even karmic material that is blocking us knowing who we truly are and being able to connect deeply within our own heart. Of course many of us have likely tried to shun, deny, or ditch our shadow traits only to have them come up over and over and over....and over...again. We all have felt like this at one point or another, and we have likely even become quite fed up with it, but most of us aren't quite sure how to proceed.
Shunning usually doesn't work as it is like telling a three year old they can't have the piece of candy on the table that they know is there. Good luck...
Denying doesn't work because once we know a pattern is there, it keeps eating at our awareness until something is done about it.
And ditching them doesn't really do it either as there is something in that pattern that we need to face, realize, or embrace and it won't go away until we do!
So, what is it that we do with these unloved, locked up, and frazzled aspects of our own energy?
When a pattern keeps reappearing we have two choices. Keep doing what we have been doing and expecting different results, which is not likely and some consider that to be the very definition of insanity. Or, we can agree to change, to go into our patterns, embrace them, and realize the power that is within them.
Before going further, our shadow traits, emotions, and mental loops are not bad or good. They just are...and we all have them. By realizing that we are all in the same boat together we can let go a lot of judgment over what is 'ours' versus what is 'theirs.
These not so understood traits are also the roadmap to our hearts. As in our shadow, we our being prompted within, nudged even, with the very things that are blocking us from fully feeling, being present in the moment, and having our True heart connection.
Furthermore, by agreeing to face our shadow we will learn that these aspects of our 'dark side' have tremendous abilities within them that have just been used to defend, hide, and keep up a false view of who we truly are. In facing them, we can reclaim some of these talents and use them in a new way to help further our journey along.
After clearing and identifying unhealed inner aspects we need time to integrate. Taking time for reflecting, connecting and allowing emotions and thoughts to settle is a very important part of our healing process, as it helps to further neutralize our energetic charges and attachments.
What is Integrating?
After we looked at inner aspects that felt separated from us it is possible to feel sadness or emotional pain like a sense of loss; feelings of remorse or guilt are often good indicators where the healing work needs to be done. Increasing our consciousness often comes with a sense of guilt in regards to our past is but is a natural part of becoming more aware. However, the objective of inner integration is not to ponder about our wrongdoings or on what we missed out on, but to reclaim these parts within.
