Being Willing to Embrace New Strategies

There are many different kinds of pain, emotional, mental, physical or spiritual pain - the kind that shuts us down or the kind that allows us to grow. When we feel pain, it's probably the most real thing we know how to pinpoint - but know that pain also highly subjective and therefore not always as real as we think! At this stage of your self-healing journey, we will investigate the deeper energetic effects of pain in the different areas of our life, but not really the experience of pain itself. For long-term healing of pain patterns, it is not only important to identify the ways how we handle pain when it occurs but also to honestly observe our attitude, involvement, and accountability for our pain.

The purpose facing our pain is to reach a new level of commitment and responsibility for our life's experiences, so that Self-Healing is no longer something we do, learn, or practice – but an integral part of who we are.

In times of increased global uncertainty, our collective human energy field tends to stir up and release fear and anger energies. This invites darkness into people’s hearts. Not only do we often feel this through elevated stress and exhaustion, but we literally experience ourselves in a state of emergency without knowing why. Those with energetic sensitivity are often quite susceptible to feeling these collective disturbances, unaware that their own energy fields are being pushed, manipulated and bombarded. Without a proper understanding and discernment, it can become challenging to remember that we are a soul with a body - and not just a body with a soul.

Collectively the times we are in are characterized by an intensified correction and speeding up of deeper inner clearing processes negatively affecting especially our ABILITY TO CONNECT. On the outside this energetic condition can show in many different ways: Overall increase in pace of life (phones and social media), political and social chaos, financial crisis, integrity problems and fanatism, increased terrorisms, people erratically acting out or 'going nuts', planet responding with unusual earth changes. Internally, these collective conditions affect us through elevated overall stress, sleep and eating problems, increased energetic sensations or mystery diseases, addictions, depression, anxiety, goal-lessness, loneliness, and/or deeply disturbing inner turmoil through not being able to make sense of anything.

Traumatic events are alarming, unexpected, and intense creating an energetic split from what we felt as normal or even safe.  They expose us or let us experience something that is deeply distressing or disturbing leaving us feeling overwhelmed, helpless, alone, and even hurt or damaged.

Recent data suggests that approximately 70% of all adults have been exposed to at least one traumatic experience in their lives and of those exposed about 20% will likely develop Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in their lifetimes (Sidran Institute, 2016).

Exposure to even one traumatic event can create a change in our body chemistry, brain functionality, and how we interact with the world.

It wires us for survival (fight or flight response) and creates in us an oversensitivity to our surroundings, to life itself and can lead to all kinds of attempts to regulate our system from this stress-based level.

What does Spiritual Awakening mean? Does is mean that we are now better than human?

Many of us energetically sensitive, spiritual and empath people feel lost when faced with the adversity of dealing with human conflicts. We try to stay away from news and crowds as they bombard us, but at the same time it has also made us become isolated or dissociated from the 'human collective'. We may be vegans or environmental activists, healers or meditators, but the truth is, we are not sure how to respond to the humanness within. Deep within we cannot reconcile our spiritual path with our human drives and instincts - our inner journey with our outer journey. It's not that we don't care, but on the deeper level of our heart we're just not sure how to relate to our own human flaws.

Does this make us 'spiritual people' ignorant, superior or disconnected?

We strive for a life expressed through mutual respect, compassion, healing, abundance, oneness, deeper values and integrity - virtues are working on developing through aligning our perception of the world to our heart's truth. But at the same time we beat ourselves up for not being perfect; for having emotions that feel 'unspiritual' to us; and desires we keep hidden. Something isn't adding up.

From Helplessness To Empowerment

The Energetic Perspective On Depression

Many of us regard Depression as an inner darkness that can throw us into the depths of debilitating emotional and mental pain making it impossible for us to function in this world for weeks or months even. Life feels pointless, the world appears hopeless, and all we can feel is numbness.

Nothing that ever mattered to us has a meaning when we are depressed. We feel lonely and alone. And worst of all - we don’t care. Once a person becomes caught in this state of iconic inner suffering there seems no escape from the hell worlds of apathy, sadness and powerlessness. So, while depression is considered to be a treatable condition it still remains a condition that can often only be managed through extended administration of drugs and mental health therapy.

Many of us experience the pressing feeling of not ‘belonging’ into our families or relationships. In our attempt to break free or rebel against family structures we often struggle with lifelong family and relationship issues, which are very often interconnected. Depending on our karmic set-up, family constellation and childhood experiences these inner and outer conflicts can have a very important purpose, namely to free ourselves from karmic binds and to create optimal circumstances for healing our deeper aspects – if we can recognize their connection!

Typically, we engage in deeper healing processes unconsciously through repeat: Without being aware of it we ‘re-create’ the same/similar circumstances of our childhood, so that outer condition force us to change our inner conditions. One of the most commonly recreated patterns is taking on a karmic family role: Mother, Father or Child.

When it comes to working on manifesting our future most people think of affirmations and visualization. As we all know, the ‘picture on the fridge’ can work to certain extend, but what about our higher goals in life? And what if our desired version of the future is not really to our higher benefit? What happens to our future when we change, when our values, needs and our integrity level shifts as we spiritually grow?

Questions like this may seem a bit ‘out there’ if health or money are our main concerns, but for the consciously evolving person it’s natural to think about the goal system rather than how to get there. After all, whether or not our envisioned future is congruent with our highest potential is not only a theoretical question. For many of us a missing vision of our future can really shake up our personal or professional lives – and as in so many cases – be the main cause for feeling stuck in the ‘wrong’ life, job or relationship.

As our awareness changes our definition of success changes and so we come to the realization that it’s not that we don’t want our life/job/partner, it’s just that we simply don’t feel fully compatible with them anymore.

How can we bridge this invisible gap between our past, present and future - between wanting, feeling, envisioning and inner knowing??

Mentoring children in becoming aware energetic beings can be a deep calling for some of us - parents or not. After all, many of us went through the trauma and not belonging as energetically children ourselves and we know how difficult it can be in a world that doesn't 'speak our language. Our children feel the same way! However, times are changing and energetic awareness is no longer a woo-woo or poo-poo practice. More and more children are born with a heightened level of energetic sensitivity and if you are an empath yourself, chances are that you are dealing with an empath child.

To understand the connection between our Personal Energy System and our stress levels we need to know how to improve our Personal Energy Management. Our energy system, and with it the state of our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual wellbeing is composed of millions of holographic energy codes interacting with another and outer energies. It is self-intelligent and programmed to self-heal and expand. It constantly repairs and replaces body cells; processes thoughts and insights, integrates emotions and stores experiences for later application. An optimally working energy system provides inner balance, peace and an optimal flow and amount of energy to maintain, express and expand our vitality. Inefficient Energy Management can lead to chronic stress, addictions and even mental or physical health issues.
