Recovering From Narcissistic Abuse (Energetic Self-Healing Strategies)

By jona bryndis, Nov 11 2019 07:06AM

There is a noticeable increase of interest in narcissism and narcissistic abuse, a new 'buzz' subject that leads to many controversial discussions and information about this phenomenon. It is unclear why we can observe this increase, whether it's because there are more narcissists or whether we are becoming more educated about the psychology of common human conditions. However, for victims of Narcissistic Abuse the info available on the internet or through therapists is often insufficient.

For any victim of prolonged exposure or conditioning through living or working with a Narcissist, the consequences of this often not validated trauma can be severe and lead to chronic and permanent physical, emotional, mental and spiritual damage.

Advanced self-healers and healers are in need of more holistic views of dealing with and healing the result of NARCISSISTIC ABUSE in a person. The way I adress this complex trauma is through a combination of higher learning and energetic realignment through Self-Mastery.

Gaslighting

One of the main characteristics of Narcissistic Abuse is the Gas-Lighting and resulting questioning of one's own reality. Suffering from Narcissistic Abuse is not yet accepted as a medical condition, which can lead to making recovery even more difficult.

Narcissism has been identified as an innate part of our human survival instinct. However, if it comes with the exploitativeness or misuse of power or direct or indirect dysfunction that can harm others or create continual problems in a person's life, it is recognized as personality disorder. Due to the 'common' nature of narcissism in general, it is still widely believed that abuse through Narcissism is a character default.

Through conscious holistic self-healing, we can learn that the way we perceive ourselves and our current state is influenced by physical, emotional, mental, spiritual and energetic states. If we are caught in negative emotions or thought processes that block us, it typically means that we are locked into an internal conflict we cannot break through on our own. The main reason for this phenomenon is that we are blind spotted by our own subconscious loops. They can lead to prolonged lingering and tolerating repetitive toxicity through accepting chronically low states that negatively impact our health, relationships, and career. Advanced Self-Healing strategies can help us to see through these blocks and loops, and allow us to regain a focus on health, self-love, and positivity.

Narcissism

In Clinical Psychology it is mainly differentiated by the level of harm it does to the person suffering from a Narcissistic Personality Disorder defined by a sliding scale of 10 behavioral traits:

Looking at demographics on the surface level it seems that some cultures, ethnic groups, religions or societies appear to promote narcissism, while others seem to be immune. It is therefore not entirely clear yet whether these skyrocketing numbers are a sociological phenomenon or merely a consequence of more easily available information and awareness about Narcissism. Some suggest that the more easily available staging and display of narcissistic traits through social media and the internet is responsible for the increased interest in narcissistic abuse.

While social sciences and psychology can deliver a detailed profile for true narcissism, the complexity of seduction, stages, and symptoms of having experienced trauma from being/living/working with a Narcissistic Personality or Manipulative Abuser is still often based on interpretation. Clinical Psychology differentiates between 4 different types of narcissism (here augmented by a 5th type):

Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome

A syndrome, often described through a list of symptoms that vary from person to person, is a phenomenon that can be observed and directly or indirectly correlated to specific life conditions and common choices of behaviors that are potentially harmful or self-destructive for a person and their relationships. Narcissistic Abuse Syndrome is compared to Complex PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome) as the result of being in a relationship or having been raised by a person with Narcissistic Personality Disorder. It describes a chronic, and very complex, and often self-defeating behavior pattern typical of abuse victims.

However, the victim's role in this COERCIVE ABUSE CYCLE and very high degrees of perpetuation and repetition of this abuse cycle suggest that there is still more research needed to fully capture the interactive nature of the Narcissistic Abuser & Victim Relationship. The SYMPTOMS OF NARCISSISTIC ABUSE show similar symptoms of C-PTSD (Complex Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome/Disorder) and/or TRAUMA BONDING, but also show signs of CODEPENDENCY and COADDICTION.

The Energetic Aspects of Recovering From Narcissistic Abuse

Adding the energetic perspective can allow for a more holistic and neutral observation of this phenomenon. Including the UNSEEN ASPECTS OF ENERGETIC INTERACTION & MANIPULATION BEHAVIORS can add a new understanding of, not only the often dramatic and self-destructive behaviors in victims of narcissistic abuse, but can also shed more light on the long-term consequences through anxiety, depression, addiction, low self-esteem, emotional disconnection, self-sabotage, set up for perpetuation, and even karmic consequences of the victim's experience.

Similar to the symptoms of Complex PTSD trauma responses in conjunction with Narcissistic Abuse can be boiled down to 4 predominant symptoms, the healing of such trauma often requires us to look a little deeper than the suggested classical treatment suggestions.

1. Self-Identity Issues

2. Emotional Intimacy Issues

3. Projection & Absorption Issues

4. Trauma Bonding Issues

By illuminating the deeper energetic causes it becomes even more obvious that the healing approach for NAS often even more complex. By adding Mindfulness, Energy Work, Adverse Childhood Exposure (ACE), Karmic Family Issues, Shadow Work, and other energetic diagnosis tools we can identify that NARCISSISTIC ABUSE SYNDROME requires a multilayered healing strategy, which we will discuss in our Energetic Self-Mastery Session.

Whether we are aware of all aspects that contribute to our state or not, with energy work we can locate underlying energetic blocks, attachments, patterns or loops that can be addressed once identified. From the energetic point of view, an inner conflict is characterized by a certain resonance that we cannot outvibrate for specific reasons. Investigating these reasons and bringing them into our awareness can allow us to formulate conscious goals and strategies to finding better or higher vibratory solutions.

Energetic Self-Mastery is the application of new and effective holistic healing strategies targeted at overcoming specific energetic states, often hidden in subconscious blocks and unconsciously recurring behavior patterns.

Better understanding the purpose of our energetic sensitivity and higher perception is the key to efficient self-mastery. As our inner guidance can help us to 'transcode' the messages coming from our subconscious we are learning to trust in transpiring through our empathetic and feeling-based senses. For these energetic senses to develop higher levels of accuracy they need to be consciously trained and calibrated to be utilized.

In order to gain a more holistic picture of the totality of aspects involved in our current state a more conscious/aware recollection of subconscious information needs to be trained. This can be done by learning how to tune into our energetic perception and utilizing it to overcome and outvibrate energetic blocks.
